John Thompson Moore Scholarship

The John Thompson Moore Scholarship supports full-time junior and senior students majoring in Business at Eastern Illinois University, with preference given to Marketing majors. Financial need is prioritized over academic standing in the selection process. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA and demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities. The scholarship is awarded in the fall semester following a spring announcement. Recipients are eligible to receive the award one additional time if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria, remain enrolled full-time in a business major, demonstrate financial need, and maintain the required GPA. This renewable scholarship emphasizes supporting students with financial need who are pursuing business education.
