Johnetta Haley Scholarship – Transfer Students

The Johnetta Haley Scholarship is designed to support the enrollment of underrepresented transfer students at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. This scholarship is awarded to admitted transfer students who have a cumulative 3.0 college GPA and at least 24 transferable credit hours. The scholarship provides $2,000 per year and is renewable for up to 2 years, offering a total potential award of $4,000. The admission application serves as the scholarship application, meaning students are automatically considered when they apply for admission to SIUE. This award is offered exclusively to new transfer students enrolling for the fall term. Recipients must maintain eligibility requirements throughout the renewal period to continue receiving the award.
