About This Opportunity
The Johnnie N. Patterson, Jr. Memorial – Bradenton Scholarship is available to students who is a dependent and immediate family member of a Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer and is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in Polk State College. First choice will be given to the dependent of a deceased Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer killed on or off duty. Second choice will be given to the dependent of a disabled Certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer who was injured on or off duty. The recipient must maintain a GPA of 2.50 or greater. This scholarship will pay for tuition and books.
