Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence in Biotechnology

The Johnson & Johnson Award for Excellence in Biotechnology is a prestigious award offered at University College Cork for undergraduate students enrolled in the BSc (Hons) Biotechnology degree program. This award recognizes academic excellence and achievement in biotechnology studies. The award consists of a cash prize of €1,000 and is presented to the student who achieves the overall highest aggregate mark in the BSc (Hons) Biotechnology Degree at the first attempt. Johnson & Johnson has been operating in Ireland for 80 years and collaborates with UCC through the delivery of an industry-led Microbiology module, as well as facilitating site visits and work placements for students in the Biotechnology program.
