Jon Walsh Memorial Kings Volleyball Student Trainer Scholarship

The Jon Walsh Memorial Kings Volleyball Student Trainer Scholarship is a nominated scholarship awarded to an active student trainer of a Red Deer Polytechnic athletic team. Recipients are notified by the Red Deer Polytechnic Athletics Department in late spring. The scholarship recognizes a student who has exemplified strong commitment and dedication to the program as supported by a reference from the head coach. Students must be enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0, with preference given to a School of Community, Wellness and Health student and a student trainer of the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team. This scholarship is funded through the Jon Walsh Memorial Endowment and provides financial support to student trainers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to Red Deer Polytechnic athletics.
