Jon Walsh Memorial Queens Volleyball Scholarship in Search of Excellence

The Jon Walsh Memorial Queens Volleyball Scholarship in Search of Excellence is awarded to a member of the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Volleyball Team who demonstrates strong commitment, perseverance, and love of the game. This is a nominated scholarship with recipients selected and notified by the Red Deer Polytechnic Athletics Department in early spring. The scholarship recognizes student-athletes who meet ACAC and CCAA eligibility requirements and show belief in the potential to use skills developed from their playing experience at Red Deer Polytechnic in their future endeavors. Community and school involvement through volunteer work, coaching, or mentoring activities are strongly considered in the selection process. The award provides $1,000 to one recipient annually.
