Jones Family Scholarship

The Jones Family Scholarship is an entrance scholarship valued at $4,000, awarded annually to an outstanding full-time undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Selection is based on academic excellence with a minimum 80% admission average, combined with extracurricular achievements and leadership involvement as assessed through the Admission Information Form and online video interview. This fund is made possible by a donation from Howard and Sandra Jones. The scholarship supports incoming engineering students who demonstrate both academic merit and leadership qualities, helping to reduce the financial burden of their first year of university studies.
