Joseph G. Baier Memorial Scholarship

The Joseph G. Baier Memorial Scholarship is awarded to biology or microbiology students with junior or senior standing, or to graduate students in biology. The scholarship recognizes research activity and scholarly achievements, with preference given to students researching immunology or related fields. This scholarship is offered through the UW-Milwaukee Foundation and supports students in the Biological Sciences Department within the College of Letters & Science. Applications are typically accepted in January for scholarships awarded in the following fall semester. The award amount varies up to $2,000 and is made possible by the generous donation of Dr. Joan Baier Peterson and family in memory of Joseph G. Baier.
