Joseph H. Garagiola Sr. ASU/Cronkite School Sports Broadcasting Scholarship

This scholarship fund supports students studying Sports Journalism and Broadcast Journalism at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. Named after Joseph H. Garagiola Sr., the scholarship provides financial assistance to qualified students pursuing careers in sports broadcasting. The scholarship is merit-based and requires recipients to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA while enrolled in a 4-year degree program. The scholarship is administered through the Arizona Community Foundation and is designed to support students in the Phoenix area who are committed to excellence in sports journalism and broadcasting at one of the nation's premier journalism schools.
