About this opportunity
The Josh Woolfson Scholarship was established in 2012 to provide financial assistance to students studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. This postgraduate coursework scholarship is valued at up to $4,000 and is awarded as a one-off payment to support students pursuing coursework within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial hardship, which may include identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, low socio-economic status, carer responsibilities, long-term medical conditions or disability, sole-parent responsibilities, regional or remote disadvantage, or refugee status. The scholarship was donated by Mrs. B.E. Woolfson and is offered subject to the availability of funds.
