The Joya Chakrabarty Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Arup De '95 in honor of his beloved aunt, who was a teacher. The scholarship supports a deserving CNS rising sophomore with high merit and financial need. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated academic merit and financial need, and students are automatically considered through the completion of the General Application at UMass Amherst.
