JROTC Scholarship

The JROTC Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen who are active in JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps) at their high school. This one-year scholarship provides financial support to Mississippi residents who have demonstrated commitment to their high school JROTC program. The scholarship recognizes students who maintain strong academic performance with a minimum 3.0 GPA while participating in JROTC activities. Recipients must submit both the General Scholarship Application and a specific JROTC Scholarship Application through the scholarship portal, along with a letter of verification from their high school ROTC program confirming their participation. The award amount is disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at Mississippi State University.
