Juanita McNeil West End Scholarship

The Juanita McNeil Scholarship was created to honor the resilience of the West End Community and its residents in Durham, North Carolina. The scholarship is a tribute to Ms. Juanita McNeil, who championed a movement in the West End Community that resulted in community revitalization efforts, greater community engagement, and programs that served hundreds of students and their families. This scholarship provides financial support to students who are residents of the West End Community or who demonstrate a commitment to the West End community. The award provides $2,000 that may be used towards any need listed under the school's total cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. This is a one-time payment scholarship that recognizes students with a minimum 2.5 GPA who are pursuing higher education.
