About this opportunity
The Juanita Muller Scholarship honors the memory of Juanita Muller, who was widowed in 1949 and raised two sons while working six days a week in a dress factory. Her son Charles, the provider of this scholarship, was the first in his family to receive a college education thanks to financial aid from the Woodward Trustees Foundation in Cincinnati. This scholarship is designed to help graduating high school seniors from Canal Winchester, Groveport-Madison, or Teays Valley school districts who are children of currently widowed parents pursue their college education. The scholarship aims to ensure that recipients fully appreciate the effort of their single parent and have a positive impact on the lives of those they touch. The award provides $1,000 to support students attending two- or four-year colleges or universities full-time in the United States.
