About this opportunity

The Judy Kramer Scholarship for Bilingual Students is awarded to select students at the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare (HBSSW) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports undergraduate, graduate, and/or international students enrolled in either the Social Work BS or Social Work MS programs. Recipients must be fluent in more than one language and demonstrate academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Applicants are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), if applicable. Strong preference is given to students who demonstrate a commitment to working in the United States in settings that need bilingual social workers. This award recognizes the valuable skills that multilingual students bring to the social work profession and supports their educational journey toward serving diverse communities.
