The Judy Morris Memorial Award in Rural Nursing is awarded to a student who identifies as a member of an equity-deserving group with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third, or fourth year of study of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. The selection is based on academic standing and indicated financial need. Preference is given to a student from rural Alberta or with the intention of working in rural Alberta. This award honors the memory of Judy Morris and supports students committed to rural nursing practice in Alberta.
