About this opportunity
The Juergen and Margot Jahn Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in any faculty at the University of Calgary who is pursuing German language studies. The scholarship recognizes students who have received top marks in specific German language courses including GERM 331 - Continuing German I; GERM 333 - Continuing German II; and GERM 349 - German Studies Research Method or GERM 353 - Structure of German. Preference will be given to students who have completed all four courses. Applicants must submit a personal statement indicating their interest in German and future use of the language to the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures by May 1st. This scholarship supports students demonstrating excellence in German language acquisition and cultural studies.
