About this opportunity
The Julius Bloom Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1988 by Frederick J. Schoelkopf and Toby D. Bloom Schoelkopf in memory of Julius Bloom. This scholarship supports students in good academic standing who are majoring in graphic arts, graphic design, typography, or lithography in the Department of Art at the University at Buffalo.
Applicants must be undergraduate majors in the Department of Art who have completed their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. They must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and specialize in graphic arts or graphic design, with second preference given to typography and then lithography/print media focus. Students must submit a portfolio of their work for review by Department of Art faculty.
Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need, and applicants must complete the FAFSA. The scholarship provides awards of $400 or more and is not renewable.
