About this opportunity
The June Rose Bullock Postgraduate Research Scholarship supports higher degree research students at the University of Sydney undertaking research into diseases and treatment of cats. Established through a bequest from June Rose Bullock in 2015, the scholarship is available to students within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, Faculty of Science. The scholarship can be awarded as either a primary or supplementary scholarship and follows the Research Training Program (RTP) application process. Recipients must be enrolled in full-time studies in a Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program and must apply and be considered for the Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarships.
As a primary scholarship, it provides an annual stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney RTP rate (indexed annually) for up to 1.75 years for Masters by Research or up to 3.5 years for PhD recipients. As a supplementary scholarship for current scholarship holders, it provides $10,000 per annum for the same durations. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and the area of study and research proposal, with selection made by the relevant delegated authority in the Sydney School of Veterinary Science.
