Junior Hamilton Memorial Mariachi Scholarship

The Junior Hamilton Memorial Mariachi Scholarship honors Junior Hamilton's passion for music, baseball, and life. Junior was known for his famous smile and enthusiasm for singing with the Huenachi Mariachi (Wenatchee), among other passions. His parents Faby and Dan Hamilton created this scholarship to support mariachi students in North Central Washington pursuing continued education. The scholarship is designed for graduating high school seniors who have been active participants in their school's mariachi program, helping them achieve their educational dreams while honoring Junior's legacy. Recipients must maintain academic standards and demonstrate commitment to mariachi music through at least two years of participation at the high school level. The scholarship is renewable, with recipients needing to reapply and compete with new applicants each year.
