About This Opportunity
The Jurgen Krause Award is granted to a student entering their fourth year of full-time studies in the UPEI Faculty of Business who is a varsity athlete and had the highest overall average as a Faculty of Business athlete in their previous year of study. This award recognizes academic excellence combined with athletic achievement. The award was established in April 2018 by Dr. Jurgen Krause, former Dean of UPEI's Faculty of Business, in support of a UPEI student. Dr. Krause has an extensive background in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry before transitioning to education, and he founded the Centre for Health and Community Research in the Faculty of Business in 2009.
