Justice DR Valgardson Award in Law

The Justice DR Valgardson Award in Law is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or third year of a Juris Doctor degree. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in women's issues or criminal law. Preference is given to a student who is bilingual in Canada's two official languages. This award is provided through annual funds by the Honourable Susan Richardson and administered through the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta.
