About this opportunity
The JW Campbell Memorial Prize in Mathematics is awarded annually to a student of outstanding merit in MATH 117 and 118 at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes exceptional academic achievement in these mathematics courses, provided that the student's overall academic record is otherwise satisfactory to the Faculty Council. This endowed prize was established by Mrs. JW Campbell in memory of her husband, the former Head of the Department of Mathematics.
