About this opportunity

The Kamira Henry (Binga) Haggie Scholarship was established in 1999 by Te Piringa – Faculty of Law (formerly the Waikato Law School) in recognition of kaumatua, Kamira Henry (Binga) Haggie, who passed away in 1997. This scholarship provides financial support to students of Māori descent who are pursuing legal studies at the University of Waikato. The scholarship is available to students enrolled part-time or full-time in an LLM program or who are currently enrolled in their third year or higher of an LLB(Hons) degree at Te Piringa-Faculty of Law. The award recognizes academic merit and supports Māori students in their pursuit of legal education and professional development.
