Kappa Alpha Psi Career Readiness Technical Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by the Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. to support male students with financial need from Manatee or Sarasota counties in Florida who plan to pursue a technical certificate after high school or are currently enrolled in a technical certificate program. The scholarship aims to promote career readiness through technical education. Applicants must be 2025/2026 graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a certified technical certificate or degree program, maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0, and provide two letters of recommendation from school representatives along with an official sealed transcript. Mandatory in-person interviews will be conducted for selected nominees on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Steve Lewis Center in Bradenton, FL. Finalists will be notified in writing of their status by Friday, March 13, 2026.
