Kappa Alpha Psi Collegiate Scholarship

The Kappa Alpha Psi Collegiate Scholarship is offered by the Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., to support male graduating high school seniors from Manatee or Sarasota counties who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is designed to assist students transitioning to college or university education. Applicants must be male students who are 2025/2026 graduating high school seniors from Manatee or Sarasota County with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0. The application requires two letters of recommendation from school representatives and an official sealed transcript. A letter of acceptance from a university or college is also required, though it may be submitted after the initial application if not yet received. The selection process includes mandatory in-person interviews for selected nominees, conducted at the Steve Lewis Center in Bradenton, FL. Finalists are notified in writing of their status following the interview process. The scholarship is renewable, providing continued support for students who meet renewal criteria.
