Kappa Alpha Psi General Nursing Scholarship

The Kappa Alpha Psi General Nursing Scholarship is offered by the Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to support students with financial need from Manatee or Sarasota counties in Florida. This scholarship is designed for students who plan to attend nursing school or are currently enrolled in nursing school in good standing. The program aims to provide financial assistance to both male and female students pursuing nursing education. Eligible applicants must be 2025/2026 graduating high school seniors or current nursing students from Manatee or Sarasota County with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0. The application requires two letters of recommendation from school representatives and an official sealed transcript. Selected nominees will participate in mandatory in-person interviews, and finalists will be notified in writing of their award status. The scholarship is renewable and seeks to support students pursuing careers in the nursing profession.
