About this opportunity
At least one scholarship, valued at up to $3,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year One of any program in the School of Accounting and Finance in the Faculties of Arts, Mathematics or Science. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% admission average) among students who are studying on an international study visa. This award is made possible by a donation from Boris Bong in memory of his wife, Karen Cheng. Boris and Karen each earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees through the School of Accounting and Finance. The scholarship supports international students entering accounting and finance programs at the University of Waterloo, recognizing high academic achievement at the undergraduate entrance level.
