Karen Pilkington Memorial Scholarship in the History of Philosophy

The Karen Pilkington Memorial Scholarship in the History of Philosophy is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree program majoring in Philosophy at the University of Alberta. The scholarship is endowed by family and friends of the late Karen Pilkington, who was a beloved instructor in the Department of Philosophy. Recipients are selected based on academic standing and demonstrated interest in the history of philosophy. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application to the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
