About this opportunity
This scholarship was established through a bequest from Karis Boyd, an occupational therapist who died in 2009 and had a distinguished career in New Zealand with a close association with the University. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage female students to proceed to postgraduate studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship provides $2,500 (subject to funds available) to support female students graduating from Victoria University of Wellington who intend to pursue postgraduate studies including Masters by coursework, Masters by Thesis, or PhD programs. Selection is based on academic merit, and the scholarship is tenable for one year.
