Karr Parker Scholarship in Engineering and Applied Sciences

The Karr Parker Scholarship in Engineering and Applied Sciences was established by Richard Strozyk, BS '78 and Kathleen Strozyk in 2023. This scholarship supports sophomore students in their second semester who completed their freshman year at the University at Buffalo. Applicants must be graduates of an Erie County, New York high school and have maintained a 3.60 or higher GPA. The scholarship gives first preference to students majoring in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, with second preference given to students who have participated in meaningful extracurricular activities. The award provides $3,000 in financial support to eligible students pursuing their undergraduate degree in engineering and applied sciences.
