About this opportunity
The Karwan/Thomas Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 by Robert F. Hanley to recognize two professors who were instrumental in helping him complete his degree in Industrial Engineering: Dr. Warren H. Thomas and Dr. Mark H. Karwan. The scholarship supports incoming or continuing undergraduate students majoring in Industrial Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Preference is given to students with military experience and those working their way through school, especially if a leave of absence is taken to earn money for college. This award recognizes students pursuing their undergraduate education in Industrial Engineering while balancing financial and personal commitments.
