Kate Edger Foundation - Vinka Marinovich Award in Engineering

The Kate Edger Foundation - Vinka Marinovich Award in Engineering was established in 2016 and is financed by a bequest from the estate of Vinka Marinovich, in memory of her brother who passed away while a student of Engineering at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Award is to support women enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate study in the Faculty of Engineering at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The Award provides up to $2,000 in assistance with study costs. The Award is intended for students studying full-time towards a qualification; however, the Trustees recognise that health conditions or impairments can limit a person's ability to study full-time and have extended the Award in 2023 to include part-time study on a case-by-case basis. Up to two awards are available annually.
