About This Opportunity
The Kathleen M. Hamm, BS '85 Accounting Fellowship is established to promote inclusive excellence, equity, inclusion, and diversity within the accounting profession. This fellowship is available to students who have been accepted to the MS of Accounting program at the University at Buffalo. The fellowship specifically supports members of historically underrepresented communities or marginalized groups within the accounting profession, including women. Preference is given to students who are first generation in their families to attend college and/or have demonstrated interest or have their work focused on the use of emerging technology and data analytics in the field of accounting. The fellowship is based upon a full year of academic study, with payments disbursed in equal halves between the fall and spring semesters. This funding opportunity aims to support diversity and innovation in accounting education at the graduate level.
