Kathleen M. Shaffer Memorial Award Fund

The Kathleen M. Shaffer Memorial Award Fund is a scholarship opportunity for students majoring in occupational therapy in the School of Public Health and Health Professions at the University at Buffalo. The award recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence and clinical skills. Finalists are required to participate in an in-person interview, with Zoom interviews available for applicants not in the Buffalo area. Applicants must describe their professional aspirations, how they excelled during fieldwork rotations or clinical experiences, and how these experiences have affected their professional interests.
