Kathryn Giarratani Scholarship Fund of the Western PA Herb Society

The Kathryn Giarratani Scholarship Fund of the Western PA Unit of The Herb Society of America was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to college and graduate students following a career path in horticulture/botany or related field. This scholarship supports students pursuing bachelor of science or post-graduate degrees in horticulture, botany, environmental science, plant science, sustainability or related fields. The scholarship is available to students attending 2-year or 4-year colleges, universities, or graduate programs. Preference is given to students who are residents of Western Pennsylvania. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.
