Kavanagh Celtic Civilisation Entrance Scholarship

The Kavanagh Celtic Civilisation Entrance Scholarship provides financial support to incoming first-year students at University College Cork who demonstrate academic excellence in the Leaving Certificate examination and register for 15 credits of Celtic Civilisation. Two scholarships of €250 each are awarded annually based on overall performance in the Leaving Certificate exam. The scholarships are tenable only at University College Cork for the first year of a full-time primary degree programme in the session following the Leaving Certificate Examination. Awards are made in order of merit according to the standard UCC scoring system for Leaving Certificate results. No application form is required for this scholarship. Successful students who meet the eligibility criteria will be notified directly by the university. Recipients must maintain attendance and meet all programme requirements including examination entry throughout the year to retain the scholarship.
