About This Opportunity

The KE Bullen Mathematics Access Scholarship is a scholarship valued at a maximum of $6,000 to support high school students with outstanding HSC Mathematics results who are enrolled in non-award units in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. Established in 2025 from the K E Bullen Scholarship Bequest, this scholarship aims to support high school students undertaking undergraduate non-award units of study within the School of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit in HSC mathematics and a personal statement which outlines how the scholarship will assist the applicant achieve their educational goals. Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate significant ongoing financial hardship and any other relevant hardship through supporting documents such as a Centrelink statement and a personal statement. The scholarship payment will be processed after the census date of the relevant semester in which the units of study are being undertaken. Deferral of the scholarship is not permitted, and it is not transferable to another University school, faculty or university. The scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.

Review process
