About this opportunity
The Keith and Eileen Ong Prize for Violin is a $10,000 prize awarded annually to the top student in violin performance for the graduating year in Bachelor of Music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The prize was established in 2023 by Drs Keith and Eileen Ong to support violin students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The prize is awarded based on the highest weighted average mark in an undergraduate degree by students who have studied violin. No application is necessary, as the prize is automatically awarded to the eligible violin studies student with the highest WAM. Recipients must be enrolled in their final year of studying violin at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and be planning to complete their Masters at the Sydney Conservatorium or an overseas institution.
