Kelly Family Charitable Trust Grant Programme

The Kelly Family Charitable Trust provides grants to UK-based organisations whose activities support and strengthen family units. The trust prioritises funding for charities that involve all or most family members in initiatives that help families work as a cohesive unit in tackling problems. The trust focuses on three main areas: interventions that prevent family fracture (such as practical family support, relationship counselling, and mediation); families affected by sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, alcohol abuse, and drug abuse that threaten family integrity; and prisoners and their families during and after imprisonment. The trust prefers to support smaller charities with income below £500,000, though larger charities with pioneering pilot projects will be considered. Both capital and revenue grants are available, including core funding and project-based grants. The trust actively encourages applications from relatively new organisations to help them become established and considers repeat funding requests upon receipt of satisfactory progress reports.
