Ken and Bettie Ditzler Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award in Sustainable Agriculture

The Ken and Bettie Ditzler Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award in Sustainable Agriculture is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third or fourth year of study for a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Sustainable Agriculture Systems. Selection is based on leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities and indicated financial need. Recipients may only receive one Bar None award in any given year. This endowed award was established by Ken (BSc Agriculture 1960) and Bettie (BSc Home Economics 1962) Ditzler to support undergraduate students in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta.
