Ken Wasmuth Agriculture Technology Award

The Ken Wasmuth Agriculture Technology Award was established in 2021 to support students enrolled full-time in the first year of the Bachelor of Agriculture Technology program at Lakeland College's Vermilion campus. This award recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, hard work, and a great attitude. The award is specifically designated for residents of rural Alberta who are pursuing agricultural technology education. Applicants are required to submit an essay addressing what three obstacles they have faced in life and how they have overcome these challenges on their own, demonstrating resilience and self-reliance.
