About This Opportunity

The Kenneth Reed Postgraduate Research Scholarship in English supports outstanding PhD students to undertake research in the field of English literature at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was established in 2013 from a gift from Kenneth Reed to provide financial support for doctoral candidates enrolled in the School of Art, Communication and English. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance to enable students to focus on their research in English literature studies. Recipients must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens who hold an honours degree (first or second class upper) or a master's degree in a related field with a substantial research component. The scholarship follows the Research Training Program (RTP) application process and can be held as either a primary or supplementary scholarship.
