About this opportunity

The Kentfield Scholarship is a prestigious award designed to support outstanding undergraduate students in engineering from underrepresented backgrounds. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who qualify for Imperial College's contextual admissions route, offering substantial support for maintenance and living costs throughout their degree program. The scholarship recognizes academic merit while supporting students who have faced socioeconomic barriers to higher education. Recipients of the Kentfield Scholarship will receive a cash bursary of £15,000 per academic year to help cover maintenance and living costs for up to four years of study. Five awards are available each year for students entering the Faculty of Engineering. Selection is based on academic merit as assessed through predicted A-Level results and UCAS applications, with final selection made by the Faculty of Engineering from departmental shortlists. Successful scholars are expected to engage informally with the donors on occasions and submit annual progress statements.
