Kentfield Scholarship

Imperial College London Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Kentfield Scholarship is designed to support undergraduate students from widening participation backgrounds studying engineering at Imperial College London. Each successful scholar receives an annual cash bursary of £15,000 to cover maintenance and living costs. The scholarship is designated to the Faculty of Engineering and is available for a maximum of 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study. Five scholarships are available for the 2026/2027 academic year. To be eligible, candidates must have an offer of admission to study a three-year or four-year full-time undergraduate course in the Faculty of Engineering starting in autumn 2026, possess Home fee status, and qualify for the university's contextual admissions route. The scholarship amount will be reduced if the awardee is in receipt of the Imperial Bursary to cap the total funding to the average upper cost of living band. Successful scholars will be expected to meet informally with the donors on occasions and will be required to submit a short statement of progress each year that will be shared with the donors.
