Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES)

The Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) is a state-funded scholarship program administered by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA). KEES rewards Kentucky high school students for academic achievement by providing scholarship funds for postsecondary education at eligible Kentucky colleges and universities. The scholarship is earned during high school based on grade point average (GPA) and ACT/SAT scores, with awards accumulating each year of high school. Students who maintain good academic standing can use their KEES awards to help pay for tuition and other educational expenses at participating Kentucky institutions.
