About this opportunity
This scholarship was established in 2014 to provide financial assistance to Honours, master's by research, PhD students and academic staff who are undertaking research in 19th century or earlier Armenian Studies. The scholarship provides financial support to arts and social sciences students and academic staff to undertake research into Armenian studies, covering various aspects of the Armenian nation and Armenian individuals, whether occurring in Armenia or anywhere in the world. Armenian Studies includes archaeology, architecture, art history, classics and ancient history, history (including military history), language and culture, linguistics, literature, medieval studies, music, peoples, philosophy, and religion. The scholarship funds expenses such as travel for primary research, research assistance, purchase and reproduction of research materials, activities to showcase research outputs, marking relief, conference-related expenses, visits to the University by scholarly experts, and holding of conferences and seminars in relevant fields. Recipients are required to submit written and financial reports upon completion of their projects or activities.
