Kerstin Hesselgrens gästprofessur

The Kerstin Hesselgren Visiting Professorship is designed to give Swedish universities the opportunity to develop their research capacity by recruiting an internationally leading female professor for a short-term period of 6-12 months. The visiting professor is expected to be an internationally prominent researcher in the social sciences or humanities. The purpose is to strengthen Swedish research through the visiting professor's participation in institutional research activities and visits to other institutions in the country. The host university is expected to organize a professorial installation ceremony where the visiting professor delivers a public lecture. The grant covers salary costs, housing, travel between Sweden and the home country, insurance, and costs for the professorial installation.
