About This Opportunity

Established in 2022, the Kev Carmody Residential Scholarship supports Indigenous students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at Kev Carmody House. This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme and provides full coverage of residency costs in a standard room at Kev Carmody House for one year. The scholarship is specifically designed to assist Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander domestic students who are enrolled full-time in an approved undergraduate program at the University of Queensland. The program aims to reduce financial barriers to higher education for Indigenous students by providing housing support, enabling them to focus on their studies while living on campus at Kev Carmody House.
