About This Opportunity
The Kevin Collins Abilities Scholarship is presented to a post-secondary student with a disability. Named after Kevin Collins, who served as Executive Director of Friends of We Care for more than 17 years and led the organization in raising over $20.5 million to send kids with disabilities to accessible summer camps across Canada. Kevin, who was born with cerebral palsy and attended Easter Seals camps, exemplifies determination and focusing on ability rather than disability. This scholarship is awarded annually to help a future leader realize their career ambitions. Students with a disability who have at minimum one full semester left in their post-secondary education are eligible to apply. The scholarship will be presented at the annual We Care Gala.
